Social Compliance Procedure

TRANSPARENCY POLICY

Our company and employees embrace and commit to the principle of transparency in all verbal and written statements made to customers and brand partners.


ANTI-DISCRIMINATION POLICY

Our company strictly prohibits discrimination based on race, language, religion, gender, worship practices, skin color, sexual orientation, nationality, ethnicity, beliefs, hometown, disability, age, physical appearance, or opinions in any of its employee-related practices and commits to maintaining this standard.

Pregnancy tests are not requested during recruitment.

Hiring decisions are made based on qualifications and suitability for the position to ensure equal opportunity.


ANTI-FORCED LABOR POLICY

No one at our company is forced to work through coercion, debt bondage, confiscation of personal documents (passport, ID, etc.), or threats.

All employees are employed voluntarily under equal conditions in appropriate roles.

Employees are free to leave their employment within legal limits.

Overtime is based on the principle of voluntariness, and written consent is obtained from employees.

This policy also applies to subcontracted, temporary, piece-rate workers, apprentices, interns, and those referred by governmental employment programs (İŞKUR).


HOME WORK POLICY

Under no circumstances are any production processes outsourced to homes.


ANTI-HARASSMENT AND ABUSE POLICY

If any employee engages in harassment or abuse toward another employee, their employment will be terminated immediately.

No job applicant or their companion shall be subjected to harassment or abuse during recruitment or interviews.


FREEDOM OF ASSOCIATION AND COLLECTIVE BARGAINING POLICY

Our company respects the right of all employees to join or not join a union without fear or intimidation.

We fully support employees’ right to freedom of association without pressure or coercion.


ANTI-BRIBERY POLICY

Employees are strictly prohibited from giving, receiving, or offering any gifts, payments, or rewards with the intent to conduct dishonest, illegal, or unethical business on behalf of the company.


RECRUITMENT POLICY

We do not employ anyone under the age of 15 and commit to not doing so.

We do not employ foreign nationals without valid work permits.

Identity verification is mandatory for all job applicants.

Personal information obtained through various channels (e.g., health or financial data) is kept confidential and not shared.


TERMINATION POLICY

In all cases of voluntary or involuntary termination, Turkish labor laws are followed. These provisions are also detailed in employee contracts.


SALARY PAYMENTS

Salaries are paid once a month, no later than the 7th of the following month.

Salaries, including overtime, are paid between the 5th and 7th of each month.

Advance payments are made upon request.

Employees receive at least the minimum wage for 45 hours of work per week.

Hourly wage calculation is applied.

Payslips are provided with salary payments, detailing all earnings.


WORKING HOURS

Weekly working hours shall not exceed 45 hours.

Hourly wage = Monthly Salary / 225

Attendance is monitored via a systematic tracking method.

Overtime is calculated as: Monthly Salary / 225 × 1.5 × Overtime Hours

Employees’ leave entitlements are used as outlined in their employment contracts. Leave requests are submitted to the Pre-Accounting Department.


OVERTIME POLICY

Overtime is calculated per legal regulations (Salary / 225 × 1.5).

Daily limit: 11 hours; Weekly: 60 hours; Yearly: 270 hours.

Regular overtime is not permitted.

Voluntary participation is required, and written consent is obtained.


WEEKLY REST DAYS

Employees are granted two rest days within each seven-day workweek.


PUBLIC HOLIDAYS

Employees are given paid leave on public holidays. If worked, an additional daily wage is paid. We honor all official holidays, including:

January 1 (New Year’s Day)

April 23 (National Sovereignty and Children’s Day)

May 1 (Labor Day)

May 19 (Youth and Sports Day)

Ramadan Holiday (3.5 days)

August 30 (Victory Day)

October 29 (Republic Day, 1.5 days)

Eid al-Adha (4.5 days)


ANNUAL LEAVE

Paid leave is granted in accordance with Turkish labor law and company operations:

1–5 years of service: 14 workdays

6–14 years: 20 workdays

15+ years: 26 workdays

Employees under 18 or over 50: Minimum 20 workdays

Saturdays are counted as workdays in leave calculations.


SUGGESTIONS AND COMPLAINTS

Employees may submit individual or collective complaints via suggestion/complaint boxes, worker representatives, or the open-door policy.

Boxes are opened monthly with a representative present.

Issues are logged and necessary improvements planned.

Representatives are elected by secret ballot and announced on bulletin boards.


HEALTH AND SAFETY POLICY

Our company is committed to fulfilling all legal obligations and taking necessary measures to protect employee health and safety.

Equipment and hygiene standards are provided to meet basic needs.

Personal protective equipment is supplied and enforced.

A certified Occupational Safety Specialist visits weekly to inspect and improve systems.

Employees receive health and safety training with certification.

New hires undergo training sessions regularly.


FIRE SAFETY

A fire safety team is established and trained every 6 months.

Fire drills with evacuation are held twice a year and documented publicly.


FIRST AID POLICY

A contracted doctor visits weekly for health checks and meetings.

One certified first-aid staff member is present per 20 employees.

First-aid kits are located in key areas and checked bi-weekly.


ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY

We comply with all legal environmental regulations, and act with respect to nature, heritage, customs, and cultural values.


CHILD LABOR POLICY

No employee under the age of 16 is hired under any circumstances.


YOUNG WORKERS POLICY

Currently, we do not employ young workers. If employed:

Work hours: 8 hours/day, 40 hours/week

No hazardous or heavy work

Not allowed to work on weekends or public holidays

Not permitted to work overtime


SYSTEM CONTROL

Our company undergoes periodic audits by social compliance officers from partner organizations to ensure adherence to all policies and procedures.
